First, prepare your sample suspension as usual, for example from solutions, cell cultures, processed tissue, or plant material. Then select the CellTrics™ filter with the appropriate mesh size, simply place the filter unit onto a sample tube, and filter the suspension directly into the sample tube. The filter helps to clear your sample of background elements, such as larger particles, allowing only cells of the selected mesh size or smaller to pass through. Now you can begin sample analysis, e.g., in a flow cytometer or cell sorter, or perform further steps with the filtrate for other applications.
