Distributor Management / BizDev - industrial microbiological QC (EMEA) (f/m/x)
Your responsibilities
- Define criteria for selection of distribution partners to realize the sales of the Sysmex industrial portfolio
- Analyze the market environment on country level and define target sales numbers
- Identify potential distribution partners for individual countries and applications based on defined criteria and target sales figures
- Lead the negotiations with possible distribution partners until reaching agreement on future partnership
- Identify the early adaptors in the key countries for commercialization together with the country staff and manage the partnership
- Organize distributor meetings to communicate the key marketing messages and enable the sales staff to perform
- Establish reporting tools and reporting lines towards the sales organizations to monitor the progress on planned actions and sales success
- Regularly report the sales progress of the sales organizations to the business owners at SPG
- Take over responsibility for reaching budget sales figures and targets
Your profile
- Completed studies in natural science, business economics or business administration
- In-depth knowledge in at least one of the following markets: food & beverage industry, pharmaceutical industry, drinking water / wastewater / water treatment business
- > 5 years of sales history or experience in customer- and distributor relationships
- Deep understanding of distributor sales business
- High level negotiation skills
- German and English language is a must
- Strategic and visionary thinking capabilities
- Focused personality to reach sales targets and time-lines
- Strong dedication for reaching targets together with a mentality to get things done
- Strong service and consulting orientation
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Willingness to travel globally (app. 30% of working time)
